Our QB Check Computer Test is an objective ADHD screening and monitoring tool designed to measure the three core symptoms of ADHD: inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. It is a clinically validated computer-based assessment that supports the diagnostic process by providing measurable data alongside the specialist clinical interview and rating scales.
The test is completed on a computer or laptop using a webcam, either in clinic or remotely from home, making it a convenient and flexible option for children, adolescents, and adults. During the test, the patient completes a simple attention-based task, responding to visual shapes shown on the screen while the system tracks movement and response accuracy. This allows the clinician to objectively assess focus levels, activity patterns, and impulsive responses.
QB Check usually takes around 15–20 minutes to complete, depending on the patient’s age. Once finished, the system generates an instant visual report that compares results against age-matched norms. These results help our clinicians better understand symptom severity, support diagnosis, and monitor treatment response over time, especially before and after medication.
Please note that QB Check is not a standalone diagnostic tool. It is used as part of a full ADHD assessment pathway, alongside clinical history, questionnaires, and specialist consultation to ensure an accurate diagnosis and personalised care plan.
