Welcome to ADHD Service UK. By booking an appointment, accessing our website, or using any of our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. About Our Services

ADHD Service UK provides private specialist ADHD assessments, psychiatric reviews, QB testing, medication titration, and follow-up services for children and adolescents.

Our services are delivered by Consultant Child & Adolescent Psychiatrists and qualified mental health professionals, either online or face-to-face, depending on the appointment type.

All services are subject to clinical suitability, safeguarding requirements, and availability.

2. Booking & Appointments

Appointments are confirmed only after:

• Successful booking submission
• Full payment or deposit payment
• Confirmation email/message from our clinic team

Please ensure all patient details, parent/guardian information, and medical history are entered accurately.

Incorrect or incomplete information may delay the assessment process.

3. Assessment Process

Our ADHD assessments may include:

• Screening questionnaires
• Parent and school rating scales
• Developmental history interview
• Clinical symptom interview
• QB Check computer-based testing
• Review of previous school/medical reports
• Diagnostic outcome discussion
• Written specialist report

A diagnosis can only be made after full clinical review by the consultant psychiatrist in line with NICE ADHD guidelines.

4. Medication & Titration

Medication is prescribed only where clinically appropriate.

Before medication initiation, patients/parents must provide:

• Accurate height and weight
• Blood pressure and pulse readings
• Relevant cardiac or family medical history
• Current medication list
• GP details for shared care discussions

Medication titration requires regular review appointments. Failure to attend follow-ups may lead to medication being paused for patient safety.

5. GP Shared Care

Where suitable, we may liaise with your NHS GP for shared care arrangements.

Please note:

• Shared care is always at the discretion of your GP practice
• We cannot guarantee NHS GP acceptance
• Private prescriptions may continue if shared care is declined

Your consent will be requested before sharing clinical reports.

6. Fees & Payments

All fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed.

Fees may apply for:

• Initial screening appointments
• Specialist ADHD assessments
• QB Check
• Medication titration
• Follow-up reviews
• Clinical letters and reports
• School support documentation

Prices may change without prior notice, but confirmed bookings will honour the quoted fee.

7. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We require at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

Refund terms:

• 48+ hours notice: full refund or free reschedule
• 24–48 hours notice: 50% fee retained
• Less than 24 hours / no-show: non-refundable

Missed appointments reduce available clinical time and therefore remain chargeable. This is standard across UK private clinics.

8. Reports & Turnaround Time

Clinical reports are usually issued within 5–10 working days after completion of the assessment and receipt of all supporting information.

Delays may occur if:

• school forms are pending
• questionnaires are incomplete
• further information is clinically required

Reports remain the intellectual clinical work product of ADHD Service UK.

9. Emergency Disclaimer

Our clinic does not provide emergency psychiatric or crisis services.

If your child is at immediate risk, please contact:

• NHS 111
• Your local CAMHS crisis team
• 999 emergency services
• The nearest A&E department

10. Privacy & Confidentiality

All personal and medical data is handled securely in line with UK GDPR and data protection laws.

Information is only shared:

• with your consent
• where safeguarding concerns exist
• where required by law
• when clinically necessary for patient safety

11. Website Use
